Happy Saturday.. For many of you it means the start of the weekend, for me it means another day of CELEBRATING Thirty One style in HOTLANTA. Yesterday was the excitement of the NEW Fall prints and products. Celebrating those who have reached great milestones with the company. The evening was filled with training from many successful Thirty One sisters on a variety of topics that left us motivated and ready to Get Into Fall. You are wondering how I know that right since I am writing this several days early – SIMPLE! Thirty One packs its National Conference full of training sessions for every level, for just about every interest and combs through volumes of video submitted by presenters to find the best of the best. So, after another night of little sleep – I am ready for yet another emotional day.
Today is especially important…First, training has been shortened to a half day so that we can enjoy the sights with our Thirty One sisters and maybe catch a cap nap before tonight’s awards celebration. This unexpected change will give me a chance to spend some time with Belinda and Ashley exploring some sights in Atlanta. We are headed for SkyView Atlanta to ride the ferris wheel and see the sights of Atlanta. I am sure that some of my Thirty One sisters will be joining us for this adventure.
AWARDS CELEBRATION! Every time I hear those words and think about it I cry. Yes, I am a big baby but I can’t believe that I actually will be walking across the stage with my name on the screen being greeted and congratulated by my National Executive Director – Hope Shortt. The other Hope – the one who has been by my side encouraging me and inspiring me along the first leg of my journey. PLUS the added bonus that waiting on the other side of the stage will be Belinda – no undoubtedly holding a box of tissue. See for me this is just about reaching the goal of Director, it is about overcoming my fears, stepping out my comfort zone and trusting that God has a plan for my life. WOW! I have been blessed by Thirty One in so many ways and this small walk across the stage will help me to really see myself as others see me – a leader. I may be the one walking across the stage but I couldn’t have done it without my TEAM – Rays of Hope. They believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. They supported and encouraged me by their excitement and dedication to their own business. Thank you Rays of HOPE for allowing me to be your leader.
Have a ThirtyOne-derful day.
