Business Tips and Tricks

A Follow-Up System

Happy Monday!!!  Today is my first day back in the office after a whirlwind adventure in HOTLANTA at National Conference.  I know that I have shared some of the key presenters while I was away – NOW I will gladly share with you all of the wonderful things that I have learned that you can apply to your business.  I mean what good is keeping all of this information locked up in my head, right?

I found a new product that is already starting to transform my business called – Big Contacts.  For those that are tech savvy, this product may not be something new but for me it was a game changer.  I often talk about how hard it has been for me to find a system that works where I can track the follow-up calls that I need to make and stay on top of the everything.  I have tried every suggestion – notebooks, writing in my calendar and the list goes on.  I had heard about Big Contacts but never really checked them out.  Then I sat in on a webinar that was my AHA moment!  For a mere $19 a month, I have everything at my fingertips.  I liked the initial product but then I found “My Second Brain” which was the thing that cinch the deal.  I desperately wanted to use Big Contacts but was struggling with importing all of my information from my direct sales back office.  The directions just didn’t make sense to me. John Rorke, a H.O.T. (I mean a husband of Thirty One) wrote the interface between my back office and Big Contacts.  Yes, there was an additional charge but you know what – it saved me HOURS of frustration.  The one time fee made it worth every penny PLUS I get technical assistance (which I am sure will be needed) AND I get the formatted emails and follow-up process from one of Thirty One‘s top sales executives.  What more could a girl ask for, right? I don’t usually talk about a particular product but if you are struggling with follow-up in your direct sales business, this might be an option for you too.

My list of to do’s is set for today including contacting hostesses (current and past), calling customers who wanted to hear all about the August specials and of course getting busy on writing some blogs that will share all of the tips that I got in HOTLANTA.   Have a ThirtyOne-derful day!
