Happy Saturday Everyone! Everyone knows how much I LOVE Tastefully Simple – at least my family does when they open a cabinet.
So I have decided to team up with the wonderful Nicole to host a Tastefully Simple & ThirtyOne Gifts BINGO event on Sunday, January 17th. It will be held at Wurlitzers on Route 9 in Toms River. Doors will open at 1:30PM and BINGO will start at 2PM. 6 games for $10. Additional cards can be earned or purchased for $2 each. Lots of fun and prizes. CLICK HERE to get in on the fun.
Here are some of my TS favorites:
Seasoned Salt- my favorite way to eat cucumbers. I mean let’s be honest, they don’t have much taste or at least I don’t think they do. The seasoned salt gives them a little ZIP with just a taste of salt. I hear that it is AWESOME on popcorn too but I haven’t tried it yet. I should say, I tried to sprinkle it on but since I use “no butter” microwave popcorn, there is no way for it to stick. I am thinking that I might try microwaving my own popcorn and sprinkle some on BEFORE it pops. Could be interesting.
Onion Onion is the BEST way to add the onion flavor to a recipe WITHOUT the mess of chopping and crying. I use it is my meatloaf ALL of the time. I used it in chili this week too. I love when I am making meatloaf and hubby asks “where is the onions?” because I am not chopping and complaining about the burning in my eyes. He loves onion in his meatloaf so this is a GREAT way to save me from the pain.
Fiesta Party Dip is my quick solution to a lack of salsa in the house. I always seemed to have diced tomatoes around because I use them ALOT. So instead of mixing the fiesta party dip with mayo and sour cream, I use a little in the diced tomatoes for salsa in a minute. I tend to make it too spicy for hubby but I love it! I can also use it as salad dressing to change it up a little bit. Of course if I have the Simply Salsa in the house, that makes a better salsa.
Corn & Black Bean Salsa is my all time favorite. I could sit and eat the whole jar with some chips or on a salad. I have even mixed some with quinoa and added some veggies for a light dinner.
I am not gluten-free by a long shot but I do like the GlutenFree Vanilla Bean Pound Cake Mix. I didn’t even know it was gluten free! I haven’t made it myself for fear that I would eat the whole thing but I LOVE it when someone else makes it. Those are my picks from Tastefully Simple. I have tried many of their products, but these are the staples in my cabinet. I am not a baker – I leave that up to my daughter Belinda but I do like to cook.
