Do You Manifest Abundance?

So, let me ask you again….do you manifest abundance?  Now, I would have to honestly answer – NO! or at least not 100% of the time or in all areas of my life.  I know you are probably wondering what started me on this quest to “manifest abundance”, right?  I have been following an AMAZING social media coach Ann Evanston who manifests abundance in ALL areas of her life.  She has inspired me.  She reinforced many of the same ideals given to me in the past by some other amazing women.  The Law of Abundance, along with branding myself and not my company are TWO of the big ones.

Believing is having the ability to dream which leads to achieving.  It may seem like a short road between believing and achieving but it requires effort, patience and a process.  No, simply imagining things doesn’t make them come true. Those visual are nota magic wand!  You need to show up consistently and keep going when the going gets tough. Your belief can only motivate you THEN you need to put the energy into an outcome-driven process.

The “fake it to you make it” theory helped me in my career as a social worker.  There were many times, I showed I was confident when I was definitely not feeling it 100%.  The end result was within a short period of time I was where I wanted to be in my career.  Was it easy? NO! Did I work countless hours to reach my goal? YES! I was consistent and it paid off.

I am working on “manifesting statements” or “positive affirmations” which will help me move out of the scarcity mode in ALL areas of my life.  I am going to finally stomp those negative inner gremlins, so I can live the abundant life I was meant to live.  What are some of your positive affirmations to manifest abundance?

Which of these abundance affirmations radiate with you?

    1. I experience wealth as a key part of my life.
    2. I am capable of overcoming any money-obstacles that stand in my way.
    3. I can conquer my money goals.
    4. Today I commit to living my financial dreams.
    5. I want more money. And that’s okay.
    6. It’s easy and natural for me to be prosperous and successful.
    7. My life is filled with health and wealth.
    8. Abundance is coming, I deserve and accept it.
    9. I accept and receive unexpected money.
    10. I accept and receive unexpected prosperity.
    11. I have more than enough money.
    12. I deserve to make more money.
    13. I am always discovering new sources of income.
    14. Money comes my way in both expected and unexpected ways.
    15. I am open to receiving all wealth life brings to me.
    16. I’m not poor, I’m just low wealth right now. That is changing.
    17. I’m getting out of my own way when it comes to money.

The ones I highlighted are the ones that speak to me.  I truly believe by speaking health into my life, I have been able to manage my MS on a holistic basis.  I know it is not for everyone BUT for me, it works.  Do I still have bad days?  YES! The difference is, I don’t let a bad day determine my week, or month or year.  I count my blessings and move forward because even a bad MS day is a blessing.

What is the quickest way to manifest abundance?

  1. Practice gratitude and generosity right now. Manifesting isn’t just about “getting” whatever you want. …
  2. Be present. …
  3. Be open to receiving. …
  4. Stay positive. …
  5. Take time to meditate.

Who will join me on this journey?  Let’s cheer each other on.  Have an Epic day!

How To Make it a GREAT Day

No…. it isn’t Monday but I do love this picture!!!!!

Mornings are not my best time.  I used to LOVE them.  Yup, I was one of those crazy people who was on the go from early in the morning till I crashed at night.  Then I got OLD!  LOL.  No actually MS hit. Now,  I wake up in an MS fog which takes like an hour to fade away.  I used to say, “Don’t talk to me until I had my coffee”, now it is “Don’t talk to me until I can clear the fog”.

Despite the fog, I do everything I can to make it a GREAT day!  Some days are easier than others but I am determined to make the most of it.

How do you start your days?  Do you set the alarm to get up early (maybe an hour before everyone else)?  Are you full of motivation and anticipation for the day ahead or are you dragging and dreaded what might be.  Despite the struggles which come with MS, I usually have my days planned out in some detail – where I’m going, who I will meet, what work I will get done and even some white space on the calendar for those unexpected curve balls called life.that-wonderful-monday-morning-feeling-L-56cqQ9

Yup, it is all about the Law of Attraction.  The reality is your negative (dreading) thoughts are killing your productivity before you even start your day.  I know some days are tough.  Some times it feels like every day is a Monday.   I try to keep a positive attitude.  Do you let one bad day, set the tone for the rest of the week or even the next few days?  So, are you looking to make a change?

To be honest, when I decided to make the most of every day, I actually took control of my life’s direction.  Now, before you start the negatives of why you CAN’T do these things, give them a chance.  Remember baby steps are what help change the chaotic into the manageable.  I don’t always do them all perfectly BUT I give them my best shot.

#1 REST

Allow yourself to really slow down and unwind.  Maybe it is a glass of wine or reading a book or a bubble bath or a massage or watching endless episodes on Netflix?  Why not, right?  I know, you have a MILLION reasons but a little self indulgence lets you take some well earned rest.  Your weekends (days off) should be different then your work week.  It allows you time to forget the stresses and strains of being a busy woman on the go.  You get to recharge so you are ready to start all over again.

#2 LIVE POSITIVELY

You need to practice this one daily.  I know those inner gremlins are screaming at you.  I know you have bad days.  I have them too.  The first thing I do is remind myself my life is not this one day.  STOP and be grateful for the things in your life.  It will help you  to appreciate how good life really is. Your thoughts, your words, your status’, your tweets, your Facebook posts should ALL be positive. You wont be perfect but if you do your best; it will have a huge impact on the way you live your life.sunshine1

#3 RISE EARLY

I have talked about this before…Getting up early is the most motivating and self satisfying thing you can do.  When I used to wake up before 6am; I knew it was going to be a really great day. Devotions done by 6:30AM. Coffee and a shower and I am at my desk by 7:30am.   Why so early? So I can be done in my office by 10 to enjoy time with hubby.  Days like these, I am unstoppable. My mood is upbeat and I feel energized because I have been productive.  Okay, so things have changed slightly with the onset of MS BUT on those days when I am up early and am ready to go – my outlook is so much brighter.

#4 MAKE LISTS

This is more a part of my life since the MS but I have to admit, I LOVE seeing things checked off.  I make lists to ensure I don’t miss any thing and everything gets done.  It is also a great way to set-up my planner so I don’t over schedule or over commit myself.

#5 TAKE REGULAR BREAKS

Yes, this actually is the key to being productive on any day.  By taking a regular break, I get fresh eyes and enthusiasm.  Planning all my tasks out in small increments helps too.  It ensures I am not working non stop (or running around) for long hours.  This is how I avoid the afternoon sugar and feeling lethargic so my productivity suffers.   Take a tea break.  Go for a short walk.  Take a power nap.  Read a little in your favorite book.  You will see a huge difference in the rest of your day.

So, what are you going to do to make a difference in your day which will ripple into making a difference in your week?  Share your ideas with us.

Have a ThirtyOne-derful day!

How To Boost Your Self-Confidence

Ready-to-Relclaim-e14295398775761

Do you know what day it is???? If it is Wednesday, it is HUMP day which means that it is WOOHOO Wednesday.  A day where we talk about YOU!   We are going to CELEBRATE you!

My word for this year is CONFIDENCE but some days it is more about self-confidence then it is about confidence in my business journey.  For years, my confidence wained because of other people or things or society constantly reminding me that I wasn’t good enough, pretty enough, rich enough, stylish enough, or whatever enough.

I’m done with all that.

Don’t get me wrong, I still struggle with my insecurities but the difference is that I know how to overcome the bad days.  I have never felt more confident in my life.  So, if you are struggling with “self-confidence” here are some tips:

1. Let go of people that are not positive influences in your life.

We all know that no one is perfect and we all make mistakes, right?  I love this analogy by Valerie Burton:

If you are not being treated with the love and respect you deserve, check your price tag. Perhaps you’ve marked yourself down. It’s you that determines your worth by what you accept from others. Get off the clearance rack and get behind that glass case where the valuables are kept. Value yourself, and accept nothing less.

It’s really hard to walk away from people, or cut people off – especially if you love them. But you have to recognize that they are negative influences in your life. LET THEM GO (yes, I am singing FROZEN, again).  You deserve better, and you’ll find the strength to walk away.

2. Do, wear, try, anything that makes you feel beautiful.

Get dressed up (or at least out of the jammies or sweats) and go out dancing with your friends. Put makeup on and do your hair. Curl or straighten your hair just because.  I was trying hard to embrace my curls over the last few months but I wasn’t feeling it.  I actually felt like a hot mess so my confidence level started to slide.  Out came the flat iron and my straight hair – POOF!  I am feeling better about me.  I’m a jeans girl with a simple top but I am learning how to accessorize so that I feel PRETTY!  Was the first song you thought of “I feel pretty, oh so pretty”?

3. Book a ticket somewhere and just GO.

For those of us on a budget or who have a family, this may be a little tougher.  How about a mini trip ANYWHERE just to get away…  Have a slumber party with a girlfriend.  Go out and meet new people.  I am going to attend a “meet up” tonight at a local restaurant/bar just for something different.  A quick getaway may not SOLVE your problems, but it will help you to change how you VIEW your problems.

4. Laugh, a lot.

Laughter is healing – even when tears are streaming – laughter heals. There’s someone in your life that can make you laugh while you’re crying. If it’s not your mom/dad, brother/sister, or best friend – it can be your favorite comedian.  Watch a comedy stand-up, silly TV shows or sitcoms.  It’s a wonderful way to get yourself smiling.  Happiness is contagious – laughter, especially.  The more you laugh, the happier you’ll be, and the happier you are, the more happiness you’ll attract.  Remember the Law of Attraction?

5. Discover a new passion, hobby, and work really, really hard at it.

Do you have a hobby? If so, make some time to practice so you get better. If you don’t have one – or aren’t sure what you want to do yet, try anything and everything.  The results will be that you’ll find what you DON’T like – so you will get you closer to finding out what you do like.  The feeling of accomplishment is like no other feeling in the world.

6. Put yourself first.

This is one that was the most difficult for me but it is the one that got me on a track to self-love, self-acceptance and self-confidence.  Reinvest the energy you used to spend thinking about other people into YOURSELF.  I see the eyes rolling and the thoughts of “I’m being selfish” flashing in your mind.  Believe it or not, when you put energy into yourself and become your first priority, you will be able to inspire and care for others.  I know it sounds crazy but it is true, trust me.

So, when those inner gremlins start to raise their nasty heads and have you doubting yourself – pick up your sword and FIGHT!  What are your best tips for gaining and keeping your self-confidence?

Start Your Morning Right

imgres

Is this you first thing in the morning BEFORE your morning coffee?  I’ll admit, my hubby would probably say this is me despite my best efforts.

How-to-attract-at-the-start-of-the-day-400x209

Enter my morning coffee and I am ready to start the day.  Whether I am working my business or just trying to get errands and household chores done, I set an intention for the day.

I get into the right frame of mind.  I know you are saying BUT the kids need to get ready for school, hubby is hurrying for work and maybe even you are trying to get out the door to your JOB.  How is that possible, right?

The first step is to get up earlier than the rest of the family.  I hear the LOUD groan BUT if you are getting up the same time as everyone else, you will be reacting to everyone and everything.  Do you really thing that is the way to reach your goals – whatever they are?

Even 30 minutes earlier will make a HUGE difference.  Start small if that seems scary – say 15 minutes.  The sooner you start to send positive vibrations out into the world, the better the chance for it to build and work miracles.

Happy awakeningVisualizing

When you first open those eyes, are you already picturing a day of chaos and uncompleted tasks.  Why not try forming a mental picture about how you want your day to unravel. No matter what the task is, it is within your power to visualize everything happening successfully. When you imagine carrying out your tasks successfully, you will help to focus, and focusing on what you want leads to your positive results.

 Use Positive Words

When you talk to people first thing in the morning, do you use positive words or does Negative Nelly creep in?  If you ONLY allow yourself to use positive words, you will help in attracting positive results.  Instead of talking about how sick a child (or pet) is, why not say “I am taking them to the doctor so they can be healthy and happy”.  Choose to use your words to help you focus on a positive outcome instead of the potential pitfalls.

You always want to be open to receive greater abundance.

Mindful Dressing

This one, I never really thought about but it really does make a difference. The truth is that what you wear is important because the way you dress sends a message, not only to others, but also to the universe. Have you ever noticed that on the days that you feel great in your clothes, you feel positive so you focus on the positive and you receive abundance.  It all links to releasing your mind from clutter that so you can bask in the confidence that you exude because you feel good about your outfit.   Confidence raises your vibration and makes attraction effortless.

When you clearly focus on envisioning what you want in your mind, you will add success in life. Add dressing powerfully to clear away negativity and leave a clear path for your intentions to materialize. Using positive words when you speak will keep positive vibrations flowing and make attracting what you dream seamless.

Are you ready to attract the abundance that you so richly deserve?

Are You Lost?

images

No, this is not a Negative Nellie post.  The truth is that sometimes people get lost.  They are confused about their purpose in this world, or they have get lost in a relationship or life passes them by or they have life challenges (this is me).  Maybe they want to change and they just don’t know how.  Maybe they want the life that they have always dreamed of but don’t know what steps to take.

Health issues have caused me to feel “lost” the last few months.  If you are feeling like me, for whatever reason, know that you are NOT alone. There is a way to find yourself.  Here are some great tips from Steven Aitchison’s blog

1. Tune into the message.

Being lost is like a messenger bringing you an urgent message.  You need to tune to the feelings by sitting quietly and just listen for the message.  Listen to your heart and then follow the signs of the Universe.  Maybe it is a physical sign, or a random thought, or a chance meeting with someone who inspires you.  Simply be open to receiving the message.  Believe it or not, with that simple step doors will open, opportunities will come, and feeling ‘lost’ will quickly be a distant memory.

2. Take “inspired” action.

Isn’t insanity repeating the same thing and expecting different results? So why not do something different – simply respond to the messages and ideas you receive on a daily basis. Go with the flow of life.

I LOVE this:  If you don’t know what action to take, do the thing that you are avoiding the most right now.  Avoidance is a powerful energy and it usually means there is something big waiting for you on the other side.

3. Follow your passion.

You have a passion for something, right?  When you do things you enjoy, you create energy that will change your life.  Passion is powerful and when you follow your passion, you find your purpose. Being lost is no longer an option when you are living your life with purpose.

4. Trust that everything can change in an instant (for the better).

The amazing thing about life is that it is always changing.  You may feel lost right now, but in an instant things can change for the better if you believe it to be true.  It’s the Law of Attraction – you get what you keep talking about. So when you believe that things can and will change, they will.

5. Upgrade your mindset.

We all have limiting beliefs – those inner gremlins we have collected over the years that aren’t serving us.  They need to be SQUASHED so that you CAN create the life you want and that you are worthy of living.  The beliefs you have about yourself, your life, and the world all contribute to your current experiences. So if your current life is less than you desire, it’s time to change your mindset.  It doesn’t matter what method you use (there are ALOT out there) but you have to create a lasting change to get out of that ‘lost’ place.

Lost is something that we have all felt some time in our lives, but the best part this feeling is the relief that is waiting for you.  Remember lost is not your final destination, unless you allow it to be.
